Brass in the 2024 is nearly here. Following the success of last year's event, we are delighted to be returning to Hatherley Park on 22 June.
As part of Cheltenham's celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Gustav Holst our theme this year is "Made in Gloucestershire". The music will focus on the works of local musicians, including Holst, and music that has a link to some of the things that Gloucestershire is famous for. There will also be activities for youngsters in the form of a musical "treasure hunt" and our brass and percussion "have a go" tent.
This year we will also be joined by the Holst House Museum with their display of Victorian Life, and Jet Age Museum who will be bringing "Biggles", their mini-biplane, to mark the role of Gloucestershire in the development of Jet Aircraft.
